A really great restaurant. Really delicious food and the staff very kind and courteous. The boss is great, just as kind and courteous as his employees. You are also welcome to go to the kitchen with the chef and convey your praise / criticism to the chef himself. Although I find the second, absolutely no approach to the criticism, not in the restaurant, with the operators and employees, as well as not with the food ... A visit absolutely recommendable.

Good food at good prices. Every euro is well invested here. Especially because of the friendly service, every visit is excellent.

This time we were very satisfied again - fresh fish, deliciously prepared, with a very tasty fish soup. For us locals, the sweet and sour sauce with fish is a classic that you rarely get in the restaurant - here it is available on request and it is delicious, just like grandma's. So, we'd love to come back.

We were there for dinner on August 1st, 2020. Totally delicious and lots of choice. You are greeted personally by the boss as if you belong to the family. Very nice staff. We would love to come back. It would be good to reserve in advance, it is always full.

A small, cozy dining room where you are served very friendly without long waiting times. The food tasted excellent and we have already ordered seats for the next lunch. We recommend!!!

When we are on vacation in Freest, a visit to the Waterkant is a must. You are always received like old friends and the host is simply a hit. Food is delicious, whether it's fish or meat. Portions are perfectly adequate. The staff is ready to have fun. Really recommendable. On weekends you should reserve in advance.

We were there last night for my birthday and wanted a cozy dinner. We were lucky to get a free table without having booked in advance. The staff was very friendly and quick. Our drinks were on the spot very quickly. The food was fresh and tasty and the prices are great for what you get. We are happy to recommend this restaurant to others.

We have now been to the Waterkant several times. Always very nice, attentive service and boss 👍. I can only say positive things about the food. The fish soup (also available as a tasting portion) is an absolute must, rarely eaten anything better 😋

THE BEST RESTAURANT EVER! I'm very special when it comes to food, especially fish, but it's more than great there. We drive about 70km there every 2 months to eat. For me there is no better restaurant. The staff is always friendly and in a good mood. Always great food. I can only recommend!!!

This fish restaurant is quite excellent. Fresh fish from the port opposite is served in tasty dishes with fried potatoes and other side dishes. The service is outstanding - from the friendly greeting to the warm farewell. You should definitely stop here!

The absolute highlight of a wonderful holiday in Freest every year! A really, very nice host with just such staff. This inn, this gastronomy is an experience for the palate and soul. It is a great seafood restaurant. If you are around here, you should definitely have a look here. It is only important here, you should pre-order. Now for a quick meal. You can eat everything from various starters, schnitzel and various fish dishes to dessert. And you can eat anything. The staff is very friendly and attuned very well to the guests. I can absolutely recommend it. It was not the first time and certainly not the last time.

Spontaneously drove to this wonderful restaurant. We were greeted by a handshake and found ourselves from the first second in a family atmosphere again The food was terrific; There was nothing missing. Highly Recommended!
